About Us

Silver D Kennels is owned and operated by Zoltan and Debbie Dohar.   They have been raising labs for over 25 years, making sure that their dogs are healthy, gentle, obedient and they all retrieve (hunt).

Zoltan has been a Charter Member of the Townsend Lions Club since Feb.4, 1984 and has donated many puppies to the Lions Foundation of Canada.  They successfully became guide dogs.  In 1996, Zoltan was granted Life Membership in the Lions Foundation of Canada.

On November 29, 2006 Zoltan went with Vice-District Governor Jim Boughner to deliver "Townsend"
(yellow lab puppy) so  he may begin his training.  See below:
